Nestled along the scenic Norfolk Coast, Waxham Summer Camp welcomes visitors for five unforgettable weeks each year during the school summer holidays, typically from July 19th to August 25th.

Set within 20 acres of stunning farmland at the foot of vibrant sand dunes teeming with diverse plant and animal life, Waxham offers a truly authentic camping experience. With four expansive fields, families and friends can pitch their tents, soak in breathtaking views, and embrace the spirit of outdoor adventure.

Our regular campers fondly refer to it as “Waxfam,” reflecting the deep sense of community, camaraderie, and connection with nature that defines Waxham. More than just a campsite, it is a place where friendship, shared experiences, and the magic of the outdoors create lasting memories, encouraging generations of campers to return year after year.
Waxham Summer Camp is lovingly maintained by Anna and Mark, along with their dedicated team, who ensure the site remains clean and welcoming throughout the season. Their friendly presence means assistance is always close at hand when needed.

True to its charm, Waxham offers an idyllic escape from the pressures of modern life. Located nearly half a mile from the nearest country road, the campsite sits beside the sand dunes, featuring its own dedicated slipway leading directly to the golden shores of the beach.
A true highlight of Waxham is its resident population of curious and friendly seals, often spotted swimming or basking in the sun. Campers are encouraged to enjoy their presence while maintaining a respectful distance.

Another awe-inspiring natural wonder here is the dazzling night sky, completely free from light pollution. Whether you’re watching a breathtaking sunset, witnessing the sunrise over the horizon, or gazing at shooting stars on a moonlit night, Waxham promises celestial beauty at every turn.
